Crutch Pain During Pregnancy

Hi

I am 27 Weeks pregnant and every day My tummy is getting larger and larger.

To the point now I'm staring to waddle instead of walk.

I have noticed I don't have to walk very far before my crotch starts to ache.

I know we all have very different symptoms during pregnancy but thought it interesting to find a follow lady who may be going though the same thing or been though it and has some friendly advice.

Thank you
Natasha Smile

It's called pelvic girdle pain. There are loads of threads about this from the past few months.

I highly recommend the pelvic partnership's website about helpful tips and treatment you may consider seeking. It tends to get progressively worse until you deliver your baby.

Good luck.

Thank you so much for your advice on the website.

I just watched the video and I'm surprised how accurate the information was for what I've been going though.

My pain is more in the Pelvic floor and pubic bone region and it gives me anxiety with the treatment they offer woman for that because it's internal to help allow the mussels to relax.

I have suffered with my mussels in that area thought out my sex life where I've been passed from pillar to post within the GU clinics. I've been in agony that much after/during intercourse with stabbing like symptoms, and lost partners because of the fear to have sex. To only now find out that this isn't all in my head and I serially do have a pelvic floor issue brings me so much relief.

Thank you, thank you, thank you xx

Oh it's awful. Hugs. Things I found that helped- don't push any shopping trolleys; walk down steps sideways; swing your legs out of bed and the car/don't separate your legs; do the clam exercise

Ah I had PGP from 30weeks with my first and 18 weeks with my 2nd pregnancy. It's so bloody painful, needed crutches.
I found a pillow between my knees in bed helped a bit.

Pillow between legs, bag of frozen peas on pubic area, paracetamol, rest, keep your knees together as much as possible.

See a physio that specializes in prenatal care. There is a lot they can do about it.
