Hi ladies
I hope this isn't a silly question but I'm clueless and a little worried so hoping that some of you can put my mind at rest!
I'm nearly 28 weeks with twins, and today I have developed a purple lump right at the top of my inner right thigh (almost but not quite groin level). I know varicose veins are common in pregnancy and at first assume that's what this was, but having done some googling it looks nothing like a varicose vein and it's fairly hard, small marble sized and dark purple like a bad bruise - tender to touch but not actively painful. I have nothing that looks like a varicose vein anywhere else and no visible veins in the area - just this lump. My consultant has advised that in at moderate risk of blood clots and in due to start clexane infections next week so a little worried that this might be a clot? If it makes any difference in also suffering from bad PGP on that side.
Any experiences/advice welcome! (GP is useless - can't get an appointment in the next week unless an emergency and I don't think this counts!)
