Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?
I've had 3 previous sections, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 4th is scheduled for July.
I was told at my 1st consultant appointment that they will be looking to give me steroid injections at 36weeks and then delivering my little man early at 36 weeks too. This is due to my scar when delivering my youngest having ruptured. However, lately when doing so much as walking the dog I feel what I can only describe as a mild stitch type sensation in my scar, as if something is constantly rubbing back and forth on it, from the inside. It starts straight away too, it isn't a gradual pain after a lot of walking it is instant and it gets worse the longer I'm walking. It's all flat surface walking too, I'm not mountain climbing 😂😂.
I'm currently 22+2 so still 14wks to go but I was told to watch out for any type of pain in my scar.

Is this something to worry about or is it just my body telling me im doing too much? I'm a single mum of 3 children aged 7 and under so "resting" isn't really the best advice 😂😂. Has anyone experienced this before after so many sections? I'm getting sterilised during this next section so it is my last 🙈🙈...
I would hate to be put on bed rest or complete rest as I'm an active person and hate keeping still (don't get me wrong, I "take the weight off" if I feel it is necessary). I'm just looking for advice really from one mother to another 😊😊

I have contacted my midwife and I'm still waiting for a reply so I thought I'd chat with you guys on here ☺️

It sounds like round ligament pain tbh which is normal at that point in pregnancy and tends to worsen with each child. I had it worst with DC4 and it was really bad around the stage you’re at. I had a CS with DC4 and do still sometimes get random sharp pains so I think it’s normal. Obviously if it gets severe contact your midwife immediately.
