Hey! Quick question, I have a burning sensation when I pee, started this morning when I just woke up. Not sure if it's anything serious or my hormones changing? I'm 2,000 hcg levels still unsure how exactly far along though

Sounds like a uti. You need to ring your doctors

I have a ultrasound tomorrow, should I wait to speak to them? I just moved here where I live so I don't have a primary care

Depends how painful it is really.... and if you start feeling unwell.

snoopy18 · 27/03/2019 16:28

Ring triage if you can get them to see you today

AmCanales · 27/03/2019 17:51

Going now. @PrayingandHoping @snoopy18 should I be concerned about what medication they give me? And ask to make sure it doesn't harm the baby

Pregnant women are very susceptible to UTIs and there are safe treatments - just tell them you are pregnant.

If it helps I'm in the same situation!
It's a burning feeling the second I start peeing and my actual vagina feels very itchy all the time. I do believe it's the beginning of a UTI but I'm going to get it checked out soon. Remember pregnant women are very prone to UTI's too.

AmCanales · 28/03/2019 00:20

Mine doesn't itch, it's like after I'm done peeing it's a very harsh burning sensation in my vagina

It sounds a lot like a UTI OP. I've had 4 this pregnancy.

Unfortunately we are just more susceptible to them during this time. The antibiotics won't be harmful to your baby, just tell them you are pregnant though
