Not sure if what I’m feeling are just normal pregnancy aches and pains or something more. I’m 37 weeks tomorrow and this afternoon I’ve been having quite painful period/ovulation type pains. They are constant though and don’t come and go. No tightening as such.

I have a bicornate uterus so my baby is lying on one side of my womb and all the pain is on that side.

I know no one will be able to tell me for sure but I have no idea! Thanks.

I'm 36 weeks and had something like this a couple of weeks ago but it didn't last too long. Had what felt like ovary pain after and turned out it's because baby was engaging. Following your post as I'm worrying I won't know when I'm in labour!

We can't tell you if it's labour or not. It doesn't sound like it, in honesty from my experience. But if the pain is where your baby is rather than your whole womb I would go to your maternity unit and get checked out. At your stage it's not worth it to not be checked out. Xx
