Hi I'll be 24 weeks on Sunday and I'm unsure whether I've felt baby kick or not. I've had sensations like a prodding feeling but unsure if this is it or not. I've been told my placenta is at the front so hoping this is the reason. I'm trying not to worry as at every scan everything has been fine. Baby been moving around and the heartbeat been strong seems fast. Any advice would be great xx

I am 24 weeks on sat and have not had any kicks yet. Saw a midwife yesterday as concerned about lack of movement as it’s just light flutters and she said she would not expect kicks or regular movement till btw 26-28 weeks. Baby is quite small still! I have a lateral front placenta so it’s right front and right back x

I had similar with my first pregnancy. Frontal placenta so didn't feel anything 'concrete' until about 25-26 weeks. I remember the internal prodding though - like they are stretching and pushing from inside.

In contrast I felt first flutters with my second at 13 weeks!
