Hi all
My friend told me about a place that does gender scans from 14 weeks in the Uk. I'm just over 14 now and just wanted to know if anyone has had one this early and how accurate they are? I wanted to go for a little check anyway so thought of booking this in a few days. Any experiences?
Thanks x

I’ve not heard of a 14 week one. I had one with both pregnancies at 17 weeks are been accurate.

I had an early scan at 13 weeks after my nuchal screening couldn't be done at the routine one.

Whilst there they told me the sex of the baby... they were wrong. I wouldn't waste your money if it's just to find out the sex.

I had one at 14+2. The private ones say from 15 weeks onwards but I just went and they told me it was a boy- I could see quite clearly thou Grin

I had a private scan at 16+5. They wouldnt do it before 16 weeks. They were right and this was confirmed at the NHS 20 week scan. Oh and DD (7 months) being a girl.

I had a private scan at 13 weeks and she said she was 90% certain it was a boy. The Harmony blood test confirmed it 2 days later.

If you're a little over over 14 weeks now I would just wait until you're about 16 weeks and book a private sexing scan. I had mine at 16+1 and the second we saw our baby on the screen it was a potty shot and the penis was visible straight away haha
I'd also recommend the package where you get the 4D scans included! It's amazing to see the little features, i was over the moon with mine and they're very clear! Booking in again around 30 weeks x
