Hi All, I seriously don't know what to do next! Hope to obtain some advice here or let me know if anyone has had a similar experience.

My first pregnancy in 2017 was an ectopic and followed by 2 miscarriages in 2018. I'm now 8 weeks pregnant but have been having some brown discharge since Friday. Yesterday it turned into red brownish spotting plus I can see some tissues when passing urine!! Not a good sign as it came with a mild cramping.

Is there anything I can do to keep my baby? Should I start taking baby aspirin? I'm afraid to go for a scan. I had a miscarriage a few days after a scan last time.

Oh my darling, please try and consider seeing someone today.

Some discharge and spotting is perfectly normal in early pregnancy.

But the real truth is, if something is happening there is just nothing you can do to stop it, if the pregnancy just isn’t viable and isn’t meant to be.

You will only find out if you see someone. The scan doesn’t cause a miscarriage, and it could give you all the reassurance you need. Big hugs to you-be brave xx

Thank you. I spoke to EPU and they need GP's referral to see me. I called the GP and they couldn't book me in until next Tues :( Not great.

Meanwhile I'll keep on monitoring it and if the bleeding is getting heavier or with alot of pain, then I'll go to A&E.

Exactly the advice I would give you. Go to A&E if things get more worrying. The GP isn’t meaning to be unhelpful, but emergency services are available for emergency events. Good luck xx

Just went to toilet and I can see blood clot passing and feel the period pain cramping now. Think I just have another miscarriage :(

Thanks again for your kind advice.

You poor thing. Maybe call the gp and see if they can do a phone referral.
