Hello, I'm 17 weeks on Thursday and I've had cramping for the last four days. I went to the doctor and he had to phone the midwife team and they don't seem worried but I'm getting a bit anxious now. Any suggestions?
This is my second pregnancy my little boy is three

I’m afraid I don’t know, have you googled it? If the cramping is severe, like period pain and worse, then I would be worried too. I’d seek help, if your GP and MW aren’t reassuring then I’d go to a walk-in centre or something. But if the medical team looking after you aren’t worried, I would take comfort from that. When will you next see your MW?

Hi OP, I am 24 weeks into my 1st pregnancy and I remember very clearly that I also had cramping at 17 weeks (lots of googling stuck the week into my head haha) I think I remember reading that it was the week where more things started stretching out and you are more prone to round ligament pain, it would just happen randomly throughout the day or when I moved a bit too quick etc

I went to the epu at about 17 weeks about cramping and was told it was my ligaments stretching, it's what I thought too but I felt a lot better after getting checked out! Maybe give them a ring yourself and tell them your concerned.
