Why don’t my boobs hurt anymore?

I found out I was pregnant last week after testing because my boobs were getting really sore. I worked out that I was 4 weeks pregnant. Now that I’m 5 weeks, my boobs have stopped hurting and I feel fine. Im so worried because I had a miscarriage in December and I’m scared it’s happening again.

Symptoms of pregnancy come and go. Try not to get too upset about it. Are you having any other symptoms? Have you retested ? X

Kal194 · 26/03/2019 18:55

@Snowflake9 I’m just tired but I would be anyway, with all the work I’ve been doing lately. Yeah I tested Sunday morning and it came back a strong positive. I’m so cautious this pregnancy and it’s getting me down

Mine didn't hurt at all until 6+4 and I was worried because everyone else was saying theirs were killing them - I now wish mine weren't hurting/sensitive! In fact I was nearly symptom less until after 6 weeks (nothing major anyway)

I would try not to worry and see how you go, the symptoms are likely to come and go. I'm 8+4 today and this weekend I didn't feel quite so tired so was a bit wary but I'm back to bone-crushing exhaustion now so I think it's in fits and starts.

Perhaps you could try another test to put your mind at ease?

@amehh thank you for sharing, makes me feel a bit better about it. I tested Sunday morning and it came back a strong positive. Just want to test every single day now haha

I kept worrying about loss of symptoms in early pregnancy, boobs would be really sore one week/day and not the next!
I'm 28 weeks now..
Congratulations

No worries @Kal194 I know I'm finding it an anxious time and I haven't had a mc so I didn't want to leave you feeling alone :) just try and enjoy feeling normal for now!

Having a strong positive this weekend is fab! I'd try and relax now. I have refrained from testing since 5 weeks (it's hard!) And just going with the flow.

@Bigonesmallone3 I hope it’s the case for me too. I know everyone’s situation is different. It’s so hard to be positive when you’ve had a miscarriage before. Thank you for sharing, it really does make me feel better. I’m thinking of getting an early scan in the next couple of weeks just so I can stop worrying all the time

I had a scan at 8 weeks for the same reasons..
Best of luck

Mine have never really hurt and I'm 13 weeks. Ive had a few bouts of quite bad vomiting and I go through phases of exhaustion where I can't get out of bed for a few days but I'd say I'm asymptomatic 75% of the time, which did worry me tbh, but I got to see my baby having a little rave about last week happy & well! Currently have 0 symptoms at the mo but I was essentially bed bound for 2 days last week so they defo do come & go for me.

LouB1990 · 26/03/2019 20:22

Hi as some have said symptoms come & go my boobs stopped being sore at about 6 weeks then came back & pretty much on and off wouldn’t worry too much x

Kal194 · 26/03/2019 21:24

@hannah9176 aww I can imagine how seeing your baby having a great time made you feel. Thank you for sharing!

@LouB1990 ah thank you for sharing. Makes me feel so much better knowing that this has been the case for a lot of other people.

Thanks everyone! Really appreciate it

Just to chime in to say my hurty boobs came and went as well. It freaked me out too, but turns out it didn’t mean anything. (Dd is now a terrible toddler. ;)
