Hi ladies! I'm 5 weeks gone and save for sore boobs, restless sleeps and a bit of cramping I'd never know it! We are lead to believe that we should be having morning sickness etc by this point, but should we? When did your symptoms really kick in? Responses gratefully received! X

Sickness didn't hit till after 6 weeks first pregnancy for me, some of my friends never had it - I hope you are one of the lucky ones!

GooodMythicalMorning · 26/03/2019 16:12

about a month in and didnt disappear til birth. literally

Porridgeprincess · 26/03/2019 16:16

I was very similar to you, was mostly ok, then I had a few weeks of feeling sick but not being sick once from week 8-10 (i think your HCG levels are v high at this point) and am 23 weeks now. and it never returned. Tiredness was my main thing which seems like a very small complaint when i see what some poor women go through,

rosydreams · 26/03/2019 16:22

my first pregnancy it hit like a ton of bricks at 6 weeks when i threw up on a train with no warning.

my current i felt nausea before the sickness, totally varies

melissa1215 · 26/03/2019 17:25

Started at 5 weeks properly, I only got nauseous when I was hungry (roughly every two hours of the day) and it became intense until I ate something. So I had little snacks throughout the day and small meal portions and it kept it at bay.

Mine was worse in the very early morning when I was getting up for work and around 7pm at night and sometimes would make me dizzy.

I'm 12 weeks now and only get nauseous when really hungry and not as often as before, thankfully

I found it really manageable though

bea179 · 26/03/2019 17:28

I'm 10 weeks and touch wood haven't been sick yet. I've felt nauseous a few times but I've been lucky!
Agree with PPs fatigue and hunger have been my main symptoms.

Parent19876 · 26/03/2019 17:40

Mine started around 6/7 weeks and I'm 16 weeks and still being sick multiple times a day haha.

LKRJM · 26/03/2019 17:50

Just the thread I was looking for 😫 I’ve felt sick for the last week after previously posting how lucky I was to make it to 8 weeks without it. Now 9 weeks and had to pull over to throw up today and have felt terrible all day. Tried sipping water, ice, ice lollies everything I can think of I can’t shift the sick feeling! Hoping it doesn’t last too much longer x

GiveMeFiveMinutes · 26/03/2019 18:02

I wasn't sick or nauseous at all when I was pregnant, not everyone gets it.

Idratherhaveacupoftea · 26/03/2019 18:02

I never had any sickness, didn't even feel sick.

Aquamarine1029 · 26/03/2019 18:04

I never had sickness with any of my pregnancies.

LKRJM · 26/03/2019 18:06

The last three posters give me home mine won’t stick around for too long 🤣

Sleepyquest · 26/03/2019 18:18

6w+3 and it hit me so hard!

Leleophants · 26/03/2019 20:01

@peaky297 7 weeks some nausea but has settled again (8 weeks). Really hasn't been that bad!

Apparently if you don't eat much meat and dairy you're less likely to get it.

Leleophants · 26/03/2019 20:02

I'm fact I'm still not sure I'm pregnant after 8 weeks so booking an early scan 😂

Jenb2104 · 26/03/2019 20:03

I was 7/8 weeks and then it never really stopped!

DramaAlpaca · 26/03/2019 20:09

Nine weeks with DC1. I thought I'd got away with it then it hit me. With DC2 it didn't start until 12 weeks, believe it or not - I was breastfeeding DC1, he weaned himself when I was 12 weeks pregnant & the sickness started immediately, which was just weird. With DC3 it was about 5 weeks. In all pregnancies it didn't stop completely until 20 weeks.

Topseyt · 26/03/2019 20:13

I never had any sickness with any of my three pregnancies. It isn't a given that you get it. Many do, many don't. Luck of the draw.

Katylou87 · 26/03/2019 20:46

Mine started at around 7 weeks, I’m 9 weeks now and it seems to be getting worse! Hope it settles down soon. The only thing that seems to help is eating lots of beige food..

gossipgirl28 · 26/03/2019 20:46

Hit me bang on 8 weeks and knocked me right off my feet I felt horrific and it was the worst time of my life up until 12 weeks when I could cope. I was completely bedbound for a month.
Lucky for me it did get better but I took anti sickness tablets up until 18 weeks. I'm just occasionally sick now but that's fine with me.

icklekelpie · 29/03/2019 11:49

I am currently 6 weeks pregnant with my second and feeling sick all day long and upset stomach. I had a bit of nausea with my first but don't remember it being this bad. I have tried eating small amounts and offen, ginger, peppermints, eating dry crackers in bed before I get up but nothing is helping. It's making look after my 3 year old very difficult. Have just ordered sea bands from amazon prime to try.

Angelinthenightx · 29/03/2019 11:54
