I’m 16 weeks and 2 days. So far in my pregnancy I’ve felt fit and able, even managing my regular gym classes (except very early on when fatigue/nausea was at its peak)

This morning I’ve been doing some gardening, and my lower back in killing me. I did lift some heavy bits my DH told me off for, and now I’m taking a break & having a lie down, but I’m feeling paranoid I’ve strained something and this could be harmful to my baby.

It couldn’t could it? I’m overthinking aren’t I?

It won't do anything to the baby. It's just sore!

You may have overextended a bit which is easy to do because the hormones make your joints looser. Gentle movement (a walk, light stretching) may help.
