Was diarrhoea a symptom of impending labour?

I'm 37 + 3 weeks and today I've had diarrhoea and slight cramps. I've not ate anything funny and it's not been anything aggressive. Just wondering if this could be a sign that labour might be impending?

It was for me with DD2! She was a week early so I thought it was a reaction to the takeaway from the night before, but no ... Good luck Flowers

I was constipated, as I found out to my horror during labour 😆. Anyhow emptying your vowel allows the head to move further down into your pelvis and the more pressure in the cervix should equal labour hopefully!

Thank you for the replies. Cramps have eased off slightly but I definitely think the baby won't be long now. A lot of pressure on my pelvis.
