Quick Sweep Question

My next midwife appointment isn't until Friday which will be when I am 40 weeks + 2. How likely is it that I will be offered a sweep? Is it standard practice to offer after 40 weeks or is it just up to each individual midwife?

Thanks :)

Don't count on them working though, I had 7 and still had to be induced haha.

Fingers crossed for you!

Round here you don’t get offered a sweep until you are 40+6 unless you have medical concearns overriding

You can always ask. I was offered one at 40 weeks but my cervix was too high and closed. However, I went into labour naturally 36 hours later so don’t be disheartened if the same happens to you.
