40+2, 2 failed sweeps, hand hold / advice.

So had a sweep Thursday - no luck my cervix was too posterior but I lost a lot of mucus plug after my failed sweep and was having pains.

Had another sweep today also unsuccessful but not as unsuccessful as the midwife just reached my cervix and did some stimulation.
And could only just get a finger in so not even really 1cm dilated.

FTM. Feeling at a lose and very peed off that nothing is happening I'm sure it's to do with the fact that baby is back to back.

How many days over due did you guys go?
Did you go into labour even though your MW said your cervix wasn't ready yet?
I'm so deflated and burst into tears in the middle of next today at the thought of possibly being pregnant for another 2 weeks or having to be induced 😩.

Its been cancelled 🙄 the rooms are too full with women In Labor. Just what you want to hear hay 😂 x

Shiny, I went to 42 weeks and had 5 sweeps. I would wake up and weep because I was still pregnant.

But when she did come, what a joy! The birth was, I declared, ‘a piece of piss’. Two hours start to finish, no tearing, born in the sac so very gentle for her.

Take it easy, rest, try not to worry. It will happen
