Hi all I know some people have sickness through their whole pregnancy but did anyone's go after 21 weeks? I'm really hoping this don't last the whole way through... I want to start enjoying pregnancy. It's not as bad as it was between 5-15 weeks but I still feel nauseas 24/7. With my other 2 it went around 16-20 weeks.

I’m 26 weeks and still feeling sick, sorry! It’s much better than it was but it’s still pretty constant and debilitating. I’d say on average it’s inmproved since 20 weeks a little bit every week (roughly speaking, it still gets bad ) so fingers crossed for you. It never went with dd until I had her so I’m fully expecting it again this time.

Butteredghost · 23/03/2019 14:15

Mine was 24/7 the whole time, sorry! Fingers crossed yours improves though.

HJE17 · 23/03/2019 14:16

I think mine improved substantially somewhere between 25 and 30 weeks, so there’s still hope!

burritofan · 23/03/2019 14:22

I did my last spectacular vomit at 22+6 and then it passed! Barely any nausea at all after that unless I was super-hungry or had a bug. There might yet be light at the end of the crap tunnel. (I did do a small vom yesterday but I'm 37+2 and ate too much so I think it was a making-room thing.)

dreaminofholidays · 24/03/2019 06:48

My sickness has improved alot. At 22 weeks I was still throwing up every day. Then it dropped to 4/5 times a week, now I'm 32 weeks and it is maybe 1/2 times per week. It can get better, fingers crossed for you x

Rubberduckies · 24/03/2019 07:58

Sorry, I'm 31 weeks and mine has continued. 24/7 nausea with vomiting about once a week.....

People kept telling me that their sickness stopped around 24/25 weeks. I'm glad i didn't get my hopes up.....!

Xyzzzzz · 24/03/2019 08:00

Mine stopped at 17 weeks and started again at 19 weeks. I’m 20 weeks now so hope it clears up. But I doubt it

WeeBean · 24/03/2019 08:38

Still vomiting every day at 27 weeks, sorry! But, it has massively improved, I was signed off work for 10 weeks, it started getting better around 18 weeks. This week I've only thrown up once a day, that might be because I've been off on annual leave so a lot less busy, it's normally 2-3 times a day. Nausea still there in the mornings and evenings but again, a hell of a lot better than it was.

I really hope it clears up soon for you, it's so horrible!

Stormwhale · 24/03/2019 08:40

29 weeks here and still sick in the evenings. Not fun.

mumoftwo1988 · 24/03/2019 10:33

Evenings are worse! Lol and with the heartburn on top of it.

Peanut91 · 24/03/2019 10:36

I felt sick until about 28/29 weeks then started to slowly feel better

LouB1990 · 24/03/2019 12:39

Hi hun, mine passed around 22 weeks I think. It’s awful isn’t it. It feels like you’ve had it for years bless you Flowers have you been the doctors to see if you can try any meds?x

LouB1990 · 24/03/2019 12:40

For heartburn get some gaviscon it really helps me & it’s safe to take if your midwife approves x

AuntMarch · 24/03/2019 12:59

I'm 26+1 and have felt queasy again the past week, After being ok for the past few weeks. Today I was actually sick for the first time. Impressively so! I'm hoping not a sign of things to come.

room32 · 24/03/2019 13:22

Mine improved after 24 weeks so there is time yet! Heartburn has gone nowhere sadly

Nathansmommy1 · 24/03/2019 20:40

Mine was coming and going all through the day at 23 weeks. Figured it might be down to something I was eating and that it was coming on after I had eaten whatever was causing it. I gave up dairy and immediately saw a difference and haven't had the nausea since!

mumoftwo1988 · 24/03/2019 21:19

Yeah I'm currently taking ondansetron but I have cut it down to 1 tablet a day

OP posts:
Reastie · 25/03/2019 07:25

Why do you have to cut it down op? I’m 27 weeks and doctors are happy if I stay on full dose

mumoftwo1988 · 27/03/2019 16:08

I cut it down as they make me majorly constipated lol and that adds to the sickness so I manage on 1 a day

OP posts:
Reastie · 27/03/2019 16:12

Wow, one a day is a really low dose. Did you try anything for the constipation? I was advised to try to combat the constipation before cutting back on the ondansetron. I rdon’t commend to try movicol or lactulose for the constipation.

golddustwomen · 27/03/2019 16:20

With both of mine I was being sick or feeling sick right up until labour! I have horrible pregnancies though it's almost like my body rejects the baby.
