How to prevent miscarriage?

I’m 4 weeks pregnant and very nervous of miss carrying again. I had a miscarriage in December at around 6/7 weeks with my first pregnancy. I’m 24 and not sure why I lost it. I’m doing what I can to try and prevent it from happening again but I’m getting anxious. I’ve read that low progesterone could be the cause of a miscarriage and you can get cream for it to prevent it. Has this worked for anyone? Your views and advice on this please. Thank you

I’m afraid there’s nothing you can do to prevent an early miscarriage. Nothing you did last time will have caused it. It is sadly just one of those things as the reality is around a quarter of all pregnancies end in miscarriage. I know it is a worrying time (I had a MC myself last October) but the odds are in your favour for a successful pregnancy this time round.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I've been there and know how horrible it is. There's not a thing you can do to prevent it. Hoping this pregnancy works out for you. I understand how worried you'll be but every pregnancy is different x

Thank you for your feedback. It’s hard not to worry and I’m trying not to, just in case it’s bad for the baby. Feels impossible not to though. Hopefully everything goes well with this pregnancy
