I'm about 8 weeks pregnant and since I've found out, I've found myself belching ALOT!! Like really deep ones LOL. I've done some research and stuff but I'm a little bit concerned !! As a few years ago my grandad had the same thing but was cancerous!
I just wanted to know if any other mums had experienced this before 😭😭😭😭

Acid reflux/heart burn?

Whoopsies · 22/03/2019 07:12

Yep, as pp said, I have this and it's acid reflux related. I never normally burp but I am a lot at the minute (20wks and been like this since about 7 wks even with reflux meds)

I had this all the way through with DD and surprise surprise it is back with baby #2! Especially when I eat and i CANNOT drink diet coke anymore ! Makes me want to throw up when I burp 😂

purplemama1990 · 22/03/2019 09:21

That's just another one of the annoying pregnancy symptoms! I've had it since around 4 weeks and it's still going strong at 24 weeks... try to limit anything that makes you feel bloated, it won't get rid of the burping but will reduce it a bit.

Heartburn? For me avoiding spicy and fried food helps.

Vesta29 · 01/04/2019 13:25

@Ilovemum22 I burp SO LOUDLY and fart without warning! Often it's after eating so I have tried taking 5 min walks after a meal to get it all out

Em39ma · 01/04/2019 17:35

The first sign I’m pregnant is I can’t stop burping.
I’m 11 weeks now, and still really bad. Trying not take Zantac everyday, but if it’s really bad I do.

Climbingahoneytree · 01/04/2019 21:47

I literally couldn't burp before I was pregnant and now I burp all the time. Nothing loud but they take me by surprise as I'm not used to it.

Ponchie · 01/04/2019 22:35

I stopped farting and burped an obscene amount throughout my pregnancy.
The good news is it stopped as soon as my baby was born Smile
