Hi, I'm 34 weeks pregnant today but two days ago when I wiped after the toilet there was some red stringy discharge on the tissue, didn't have any pain or anything. Then yesterday baby feels so much lower and pains going through my pelvis but I was also getting cramps in my back and belly and the feeling of needing a poo and my bump going rock hard but these weren't regular at all. I went to the toilet 4 times yesterday and the stools were a lot looser as they are this morning.

don't know if it is worth going to the doctor over diarrhoea when i'm not having regular pains :/

any advice? x

Do you have a Labour Line contact number or your maternity ward number you can call? I would strongly advise going to get checked today!

I have the number for maternity triage but I didn't really want to call them straight away, I'm going to go see my doctor and see what they say

Will your doctor see you today?

Call the maternity unit - it sounds like you could be in early labour. Your doctor will only refer you to the maternity unit !

I’m hoping they will see me today!

just call them, they will advise you and if needs be tell you to come in. You cant be too careful.

This does sound like things could be starting. I wouldn't bother with the doc's just phone maternity on your notes as you are still a bit early they will want to see you i expect.

Doctors are good but will just forward you to mw anyway
