Hello, going crazy here. Found out I’m pregnant end of feb. My problem is I had a period (well what I thought was one but I knew it wasn’t right so did a test) I rang the doctors who got me in for a blood test and confirmed pregnancy. I had bloods taken again two days later which showed levels rising and again a week later still rising. The bleeding lasted 20 days in total. It’s hard to explain the bleeding it was light. The doctor has said I have to wait unti I’m 8 weeks before they will scan to see if the baby has a heartbeat or not. The wait is horrible. My question is...have I had a miscarriage or still pregnant? Has anyone had any similar problems and had a healthy pregnancy?

Unfortunately nobody will be able to say for sure until you have the scan done. I'm sorry you're going through this, the waiting is awful Flowers

I’m sorry but this is a total how long is a piece of string question.

If the bleeding is light then it could just be bleeding due to something else. If it’s heavy with clotting and cramping then more likely to be a loss.

I know a few ladies on our ante natal club thread have had bleeding on and off but baby’s been fine so keep thinking positively.

hi hun

I had bleeding from early stages with my son and lasted till I was about 28 weeks who is now a healthy 3 year old. I had a clot which was causing the bleeding.

I am now 11 weeks and 6 days pregnant and had bleeding at 5-6 weeks and had a scan and everything was fine but had another scan at 10 weeks and they have again found I have a clot again.

really hope everything goes ok at your scan when it comes. No one can answer your question you will have to wait for scan. try and keep positive I know its hard.

Hi I don't know if this could help but from my experience me and my partner were talking about trying for a baby, we had sex a couple of times and 3 weeks later I got what I thought was my period- a normal bleed for around 7 days. We decided to try again after my 'period' and a month and a half later I took a test which said I was pregnant. At my 12 week scan then confirmed I was further on than I was! So that 'period' wasn't a period and I was pregnant from the beginning. It's normal to bleed but I would still get it checked out especially in the early stages. Now 20+1 with a little boy 😂

Hello, thought I’d give a little update. Unfortunately it wasn’t good news at the scan. The baby was eptopic, I was rushed in for a operation and had a tube removed. So lots of rest for me right now.
