Just wondered if there were any other fellow mums to be local to me.
Maybe we can share info on the hospital and what we can all expect.

I know a couple of mumsnetters were at Russells Hall at the end of last year.

Think it's pretty good now.

At least this will bump it for you .

fairyjay - thanks, got all excited when i saw a new message on there. I had my first baby there last June. it was quite good, nice and clean.

I had one there last september and will be back in december!
I had a waterbirth, the hospital and staff were all lovely.

Is there anything you want to know?

Baggiebird - will be there september. I had a c-section last time and wondered if anyone knew the routine as to what may happen this time, how much monitoring etc i will have.

good luck to you.

Oh, no idea about that! Nappyaddict had her baby there last year but not sure if she had a c-section.

Oh come to think of it a friend of mine had a VBAC 2 weeks ago. It was a very short labour and she said she spent it all on a birthing ball so she was mobile. She was kept in for the night (baby born at 11pm) and out by 9am the following morning. Not sure if that helps at all
