I’ve been TTC #1 for 20months now and have just got my BFP!!!! CD 33, boobs have been sore for nearly a week(not a usual AF symptom for me, but did happen last cycle, so wasn’t reading into it) I’m normally an early tester, but somehow I managed to control myself and wait until this morning. DH went to work, I POAS, and cannot believe my eyes to see the +ve result, after so many months of BFN, I keep going back to check it hasn’t changed!!!!! Now I know it’s early days but I can’t help grinning from ear to ear. Was about to call DH, but I want to tell him face to face. Am going to see my mum in a bit to take her to a hosp appt, want to tell her but feel DH should know first!!! So here I am telling a bunch of strangers on the internet!

Anyone able to celebrate with me please!

:) :) :) Aww that's wonderful, congratulations!!! :) You must be over the moon and excited like crazy to tell your husband! How exciting you'll have a little Christmas bundle of joy. Really happy for you and your hubby :)

How are you feeling Fluffyduck and fanfan ? Have you told partners if anyone else?

Fluffyduck18 · 24/03/2019 08:13

I’m feeling ok, my boobs hurt quite a bit and I’ve had mild period like pains at some point for a few mins everyday so far, a little nausea, but nothing major so far!!!
I told hubby the day I found out, he wasn’t quite as excited as I’d hoped, but he’s very happy for me! And I told my best friend last night, who cried with happiness for me!!!
I do have a dilemma telling my family: it’s my grandparents diamond anniversary next weekend and my brother’s wedding the following weekend, so I don’t want to ‘overshadow’ either event, but someone might/probably will notice me not drinking...I’m quite known for not letting wine go to waste! Any ideas???

Hi @Fluffyduck18, congratulations to you all!!
May I join? DH and I got our first BFP last week (and subsequent positives for the numerous tests I took to convince myself!!), dates from LMP make me due on 2nd Dec. I've had to tell my manager and one colleague due to the line of work I am in, and am planning on telling my DM this weekend, tying it in with Mother's Day.
I've also been getting low stomach pains similar to period pains and nausea on & off, although haven't really felt as though I'm going to be sick, if that makes sense?!

Hiya, welcome aboard! Congratulations to you Loulabelle. There’s no way I can keep this quiet for long...I’ve got 2 part time jobs, and I’ve already told them at one, but not the other, one of my colleagues is now about 17wks, and I’m nervous about telling them as there will the be 2 of us off on mat leave, and currently we’re understaffed anyway, so with 2 bumps it’s going to be difficult!!! What a lovely idea telling your mum on mother’s day!
