Had a growth scan today as midwife thought baby was measuring big, turns out she’s breech. Does anyone have any advice on what to do going forward? Booked in for an ECV next Tuesday in a panic but now worried it might be risky? Other options are elective C section or just see what happens when I go into labour but tbh I dont like the not knowing what might happen. Does anyone have any advice on what to do please?

Both my babies were breech at that many weeks. Acupuncture and lots of walking seemed to work.

My baby was breech at 36weeks and with a bit of assistance from me she turned, it was bloody uncomfortable as I didn't have a lot of water but we did it!
There is still time for your baby to turn..

DD was breach at 36 weeks and stayed that way. I went for the ECV which was unsuccessful and she was born by ecs at 40 weeks.

They will go through the risks before they try to turn her and you can ask them to stop at any time. I was not prepared for how painful it was but I don't know if it is like that for everyone.

One thing I hated was that the day i went in for the section, they did a scan and if she had turned they would have sent me home to wait for labour. By that stage, I was psychologically committed to the section and really didn't want to change the plan.

Obviously understand them not wanting to do a section on someone who no longer needed it but I admit to being very relieved when they said she was still breach!
