The article that has been posted will be the one I am sure that talks about increased loss of pregnancy after conception within a year. Statistically there may be an increased risk but in my experience I have looked after many women who have been pregnant within the year (me included) without any problem. I do not think the incidence of post partum haemorrhage is any higher- it is not something that I have seen happen. Why are you asking Titania?

thanks mears.....we are thinking of having another baby. I am on the depo injection and as it might take some time for my body to readjust and periods to return to normal. However, if by chance i caught pregnant straight away, i want to know that im not putting myself or unborn baby at risk.

Titania - you might find this interesting here . Personally I think it might be worth using condoms for the first month after deciding not to have another injection just to be sure it is out of your system. It would be good if you got a period in that time but it is really variable.
