Hi I am 39 plus 5 days with my 1st baby.
I went for a sweep yesterday at 2pm and midwife said I was 2 cm and she can stretch to about 5cm. She also said baby was back to back. Sweep was discomfort and was a bit of blood. Had a few cramps in the afternoon and went to bed at 10. 30pm. I woke up an hour later with bad pains in my lower back and tummy. They got worse but there wasn't a patten to them. I managed to get back to sleep about 2.30 and apart from waking a few times with pain I slept till 7.30 and woke up without pain. Am. I in labour, I think baby has moved around so its laying on its side instead of back to back. I ma. Not sure what to do next, does this mean it's coming soon or jot x
