Gestational and yolk sack but no Fetal pole

I’ve been for a early scan today I thought I was 6+ weeks she dated me at 5+ as there was gestational sak and yolk Sak but no Fetal pole, The sack measured 9mm, I’ve got another scan booked next week so hoping I will see a heart beat, could all you lovely mummies give me your outcomes if you’ve been in this situation Thankyou so much smile x

Yes I had this with my baby ( just turned 1) went for early scan as had pains and they wanted to rule out ectopic and they said I was only about 5w 3Days when by last period I should have been about 6w 6 days.
They could only see gestational sac ans you sac and sais it was too early, they took my bloods 2 days in a row which more than doubled as it should and scanned me about a week ans half later by which time baby had obv caught up and baby was now measuring what it should by my dates.
Sometimes it’s just too early but baby can then quickly grow and turns out your dates right all along.

Thanks @ kelly14 I’ve had 4 children but I feel so anxious about this one I cant remember feeling like this with any of my others, I’m Tryin to stay positive until my next scan but it’s so hard I no I’ve jus got wait, xx
