I saw my midwife today and we talked about the vit k thing. I asked whether she knew whether a vegetarian version was available, and she gave me an empty box of the type they use - Roche Konakion MM Paediatric.
Just been on the phone to Roche who say that the glycocholic acid in their preparation is from a bovine source, albeit highly processed.
Does anyone know whether a non-animal source is available? If so, could I get hold of it myself or would I have to obtain it through my GP/midwife?
