Hi everyone.

I'm really hoping someone can give me some reassurance.

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant ( so very very early) and I can't stop crying. There's nothing I feel particularly sad about and I'm over the moon to be pregnant, but I seem to have a sob everyday.

I've cried so much on Friday and today that my bosses sent me home today (they don't know I'm pregnant).

I've previously had problem with my mental health, so I'm starting to question if there's something wrong that I need to seek help for. But if I'm honest, I don't think that I'm depressed. Just hormonal.

Is this normal?!

I had this in my last pregnancy and it was just down to hormones. The baby was planned so I had no reason to be upset but I just kept crying, and like you it was from early on. At your first appointment they will run through the mental health side of it with you and if you have any worries still you can bring it up then, but I do think that it can just be down to hormones, I know others have been the same also.
Funnily I'm on my second pregnancy now and I can't believe how emotionally stable I am, it's been so different!
Good luck Smile
