Anyone else feeling rubbish? I can't sleep during the night at all - uncomfortable, mind buzzing etc. Come daylight and I'm ready to sleep and can manage a few hours easily Angry finished work a week ago due to pelvic pain/ exhaustion/ hyperemesis / gestational diabetes..

I feel pretty rubbish too, although I'm struggling to sleep at random hours in the night. I'll wake up for the toilet at about 3 and not be able to fall back sleep until 7am. I think it might be our bodies sleep training us for our babies :)

I'm not even going to the toilet, just can't get comfy enough! And I feel wide awake.

How far along are you? Is this your first?

Hi @hospitalbagfrenzy, this sounds exactly like me. I also finished work early as have pelvic pain and GD, I was struggling to carry on.

I wasn't sleeping during the night and was sleeping for long periods in the day. Completely shit as felt so unproductive, the house was a mess and I wasn't getting anything done at all.

But it actually turns out my iron levels are very low so I think this was contributing massively to the exhaustion.

Just think, we are at the home stretch now and the end is near SmileThanks and we will soon meet our little bundles of joy.

36w today and on the first day of my Mat leave. Are u working?

I found that when there was no pressure to sleep (ie I didn't need to get up) then I could sleep easily!!

If ur working or have other young kids try a warm bath and hypno birthing meditation apps - they helped me when I needed to sleep

hospitalbagfrenzy · 18/03/2019 08:59

My iron is also low but I'm struggling with taking the various medications and iron is probably one I end up skipping Blush I'll make more effort now!!

Yes nearly at the end thank goodness! Trying to work through a list of the things I want to get done...

Are you all ready? Is it your first? It's our second. I have the hospital bag packed Grin
