I'm 7 weeks pregnant and was stripping wallpaper and cleaning off black mould today without a mask.
When I got home I googled and saw that black mould can cause miscarriages... Especially early in pregnancy. I can't believe Ive been so stupid. Is there anything I can do?

I really, really wouldn’t worry.
Sadly if a miscarriage is going to happen it won’t be because of mould. Usually they are just one of those things.
Stay away from dr google, I drove myself mad googling when I was pregnant.

Everything I've seen says black mould isn't harmful to the foetus, though obviously not good for born babies, adults or children. We had some in our room for most of my first trimester until I realised how bad it had got and DH removed it. Good idea to use a mask when using chemicals next time but I wouldn't worry yourself this one time.
