28 weeks and spotting

Hi all, will ring the midwife tomorrow but am worried tonight. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and had some spotting today. Not sure if it was red or brown when it came out as it's dried on my knickers before I saw it (sorry for the TMI). No recent sex...which is what google seems to suggest causes it...

Any experience of this??

Hi, do you have a low lying placenta?
Is there a number on your notes for the antenatal team at the hospital? It’s probably all fine but good to call for advice.

I had spotting at around 33 weeks with my DD. Scared the life out of me but they didn’t know what caused it and it didn’t happen again.
