Im 14 weeks and I went bowling with work today and didn't think much of it but ever since I feel I've had an ache in my lower stomach and sides. Am I being totally paranoid!?

Yes. Very. You'll be fine!

Sounds like growing pains. I think the proper term is round ligament pain. I had them so badly in my first pregnancy the GP thought I had appendicitis but there was nothing actually wrong at all!
Gentle exercise like bowling is absolutely fine. Bear in mind that your core is getting weaker so you just need to be more careful about lifting and that.
Obviously talk to your midwife if you're really worried though x

I went bowling last weekend when I was 29+2. It was fine. I’m fact I thrashed my DH, which I obviously keep reminding him about. Don’t worry!

I think it's quite common to be extra achey in pregnancy especially if you have done something a little strenuous or out of the norm..

Baby will be absolutely fine..
