Hello all 😁

Everything has changed in my hospital Trust since having my DS, I was just wondering when you are technically meant to have your "12 week" Scan by?

I thought I read somewhere that it had to be done before 13+1 to do the screening tests they do?

But as I'm 12 weeks next Tuesday I phoned just to check if I've been booked in as hadn't gotten the letter yet and they said they have until 14+1 to give you a Scan??

Is this the same elsewhere??

My midwife told me this week (I was 10+6 at the appointment with known twins) that they like to do the scan by 13+5 and, if I’ve not heard by next Wednesday, to call her and she will chase the hospital up. This is knowing I’ve declined the combined test as it will automatically be flawed.

I have my scan booked for 10th April which will make me 14+4. That is going from my LMP, with my ovulation dates though I think I will be more like 13 weeks. When speaking with the midwife at my booking appointment she told me they can be done anytime between 11-14 weeks xx
