I keep waking up with this weird taste in my mouth, when i brush my teeth in the morning and evenings my gums start to bleed.
I also feel really exhausted, and sometimes nauseous in the mornings.
I can't really remember my symptoms when i fell with my DD (didn't find out till i was 12 weeks). and i don't get any money till end of week so can't do test, i think my last AF was in about 23rd June and was only couple of days and i normally last 5days.

What do you think?

TaylorsMummy · 09/07/2007 15:14

hippmummy · 09/07/2007 15:15

Hi Muppet
Can you go to the doctors and get them to test for free for you?

suezee · 09/07/2007 15:15

you can go to ur gp and they will do a preggers test for u free of charge, or any family planning clinic there might be in ur area ).I would go cos it sounds to me that u may be preggers and it saves u having to pay for one )

TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 15:15

If your last af was only 2 weeks ago then you wouldn't be pregnant now, you'd be about ovulating if you ovulate mid cycle. Unless you think you were pregnant hence the shorter bleed? That would make you about 6 weeks if you have a 28 day cycle and you should get a strong positive on a test by now.

TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 15:16

Quokka boobs are not sore and only really remember sores boobs from around 10 weeks.
And it'll take me about 3 weeks for appointment with my Surgery.

TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 15:18

Jodie i normally have a period 27th of everymonth for 5 days, but came on for about 2-3 days on or around 20th june, and not had a bleed since.

quokka · 09/07/2007 15:20

Your last period could have been an implantation bleed, I guess? IMO your best bet is to "act pregnant" ie cut down on alcohol etc until you can either get a gp appt or get cash to buy a test!

good luck

TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 15:25

DSW - i've gone off alcohol! and being pregnant in one way will help me - i need to put weight on!!!

doggiesayswoof · 09/07/2007 15:26

info on implantation bleeding

quokka · 09/07/2007 15:26

I think you are! sounds like a bit of shedding in the first stages? I agree I would treat it like you are until you have a test to confirm. My dh got me a preggers test for £3.99 for ds2, could you stretch to that it did work!

TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 15:28

DSW - sounds like what happened!!
Have to tell DP yet!

doggiesayswoof · 09/07/2007 15:30

OK, so:

  1. v tired
  2. nauseous
  3. strange taste in mouth
  4. sensitive gums
  5. gone off alcohol !
  6. pinkish bleeding earlier than period due, for a short time

You certainly have some symptoms.

TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 15:31

DSW - i have all that yes!
But are they signs of pregnancy?

OP posts:
TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 15:36

Quokka I don't have a penny to my name till end of week.
I was underpaid by £500 so moneys very tight this month

lulumama · 09/07/2007 15:52

chemist will test for free, as will family planning clinic

doggiesayswoof · 09/07/2007 15:54

AFAIK they are all signs of pregnancy, yes. But it still doesn't mean you are! Go to chemist for test as lulumama says (I didn't know chemists did that!)

suezee · 09/07/2007 15:56

chemists do actually ask for a small fee where i live, also have u got a walk in centre in ur area because they will test u for free as well

TheMuppet · 09/07/2007 17:45

Hi

I didn't know chemists actually did that, will go tomorrow and see.
Not sure of times for local family planning and to much going on tomorrow to find out n go!

I don't really like the taste in my mouth much and through all the brushing i can do in a day its still there
