12 weeks scan in 2 days and bump queries

Hi all, I am extremely anxious as I have my 12 week scan on Thursday. I had a MMC in September last year hence why I'm even more nervous. Just wondered if anyone had any sort of bump at 12 weeks. I'm about a size 12/14 now and just experiencing bloat but no obvious lower or higher bump. It will be my second child. Thanks

I didn't get a bump until 6 months gone!

Ps I had two MMCs previously and had the same fears as you. Didn't get a touch of morning sickness and would have loved some for a bit of reassurance.

I was about to do same post!!! I’ve got my 12 week tomorrow and just bloat. I also had a mmc last year in July. I am definately feeling worse than last time with stronger symptoms though so fingers crossed ☹️ All the best to you!! Xxx

At 12 weeks baby is only just coming up above the pelvic area which keeps the bump down. I suddenly went from looking like I was just fat at 12 to visible I think it’s quite big bump at 16. You’re smack bang in the middle of the fast growing weeks where baby will double in size. With that and it being you’re second expect a bump very soon :)

Sorry to hear that @leasedaudi they are so cruel! Yes same @Babycakes1989 I have had the worse sickness this time and just purely drained most days! My boobs have settled but nipples are red raw and look like bullets! Let me know how yours goes. I just keep thinking about going in the room and when they put it on my tummy the anxiety I get is so bad.

I know lynz me too I’m so nervous! Despite having early scan at 9 weeks I’m just dreading the worst. I’m sure all will be fine 😘 when I lie down and touch my lower tummy it does feel firm though and not wobbley! Fingers crossed xxx

@Babycakes1989 mine does sometimes in the morning but I'm over evaluating it now thinking is it in my head it comes and goes. I had an early scan at 10 weeks and baby was wiggling away so fingers crossed too. X

I had a bump already at 12 weeks with both my first and second pregnancies. With our first we didn’t tell anybody until after the scan but many people had their suspicions because of said bump. Second time round i was better at hiding it I think!

@TerriB1984 ahhh I don't have anything yet I didn't get a bump with my first until I was about 5/6 months as I remember going to the doctor asking if everything was ok and where is my bump?! just concerned as they say second pregnancy normally get one a little earlier x

I had an mmc about 18 months ago too found out at 12 week scan. Now 12 weeks pregnant again and waiting for my scan (Monday!) And so nervous! I had an early scan at 8 weeks and everything was good but doesn't stop you worrying though does it!
