Speak to your GP/MW to be sure but sounds like implantation bleeding to me. Good luck.

in my last pregnancy I had an early scan at 6+1 and was told I had a cyst on my ovary which is common in pregnancy and it looked like it was going to pop and I was told I would probably find some brown blood when I wiped. It could potentially be something similar or as pp said it could be implantation bleeding. I was always lead to believe brown blood isn’t anything to worry about as it’s just old blood. still worth getting checked over just to ease your own mind though!

Thank you for your replies and easing my mind. I am going to ring my gp this morning l. I have read myself that brown is not really anything to worry about so trying to relax and be calm

They say brown blood is ok but I have had a few experiences of it not being ok. I would ask your GP to send you to EPU. They might not be able to see much yet but it will put your mind at ease.

I'd definitely get it checked out just to be on the safe side. I have had a small amount of spotting which lasted a couple of days and was brown, all seems to be fine. I've had two occasions when it has not been.
