I've just given birth to a beautiful baby girl today at 4 forty something in the morning. And it was a very quick labour...I was induced the day before with a pessory. I went from being in constant contraction pain to pushing the babys head out then another push and that was my baby born all under 45 minutes.
So tell me your labour stories... Oh i also suffered from a 2nd degree tear which they sutured up which wasn't the most comfy of tasks. Im so happy i didn't have a c-section.. I thank the midwives who had to deal with me doing a poo on the floor lol

Congratulations on your baby girl!
I was always terrified of the thought of pooing in labour and of my waters breaking somewhere really public and people staring at me so i was glad neither of those happened to me lol.
My son was born 11 years ago now, but mine started off with waters breaking on the toilet at 7 in the morning, contractions slowly starting mid-afternoon and by about 11 that evening i headed into hospital where they planned to send me home as i wasnt ready. But things moved along quicker than they expected and not long afterwards he was born at 2 something in the morning.
I also suffered a lovely 3rd degree tear so was carted off to be stitched not long after giving birth, luckily it healed well and i've suffered no long term problems.
Due again in just about 5 weeks so will be interesting to see how this one compares :)
