Hi all,

This is my second child and I can't remember for the life of me if I had this with our first but lately I've been getting menstrual cramps in my lower abdomen. This morning I got them and I had that nervous cramp too which made me go to the loo (tmi) I know but still!

Has anyone experienced these or having these? I think I over did it yesterday so could be the reason?

I had this in my first pregnancy quite a bit. My widwife recommended a warm bath to ease the pain and if that didn’t work I should go in to be checked but it always worked. Especially if I over did it the day before (I used to walk everywhere so on days with particularly long walks I’d really feel it the next day).

I would always say if you’re worried speak to the hospital just to be on the safe side!

@Longislandicedme thanks for the reply.

Yeah I think I over did yesterday. As well as doing my bits of cleaning I went to do some light shopping... but I think it's an over doing thing. Felt him move a few times this morning so that's fine. I have a scan Tuesday for his heart so I will keep resting and being lazy until then
