Is weeks measured in completed weeks?

This is probably a daft question, but does being for example 10 weeks pregnant mean that you are in your tenth week, or that you have completed ten weeks and are now in the eleventh week?

Pretty sure it's weeks pregnant, or 10weeks 1 day etc

Yes you have completed ten weeks and are now in the eleventh week

Yes, you will hear midwives talking about 15 plus 3 or 25 plus 2 etc. It means 25 weeks and 2 days.

Each week is a completed week.

Yes counted as completed weeks. As others day, you'll probably get asked to say how many weeks plus days
E.g. if you're 10 week and 4 days it will be 10+4.

I was 39+6 and the midwife had to phone someone to ask about a sweep as I was '39 weeks pregnant.'

I'm 30 weeks and 6 days at the moment. 31 weeks tomorrow then I'll be 31+1, 31+2 etc

Won't be 32 weeks till I've completed the full 31 weeks
