spotting during early pregnancy

My husband and I have been trying to fall pregnant for over 2 years and I found out that it had finally happened 2 weeks ago. I started spotting even before I knew that I was pregnant. This is causing me to be so anxious. It ranges from pink to brown and occasionally has red streaks in it. I've had three HCGs done.
Day 1 265
Day 3 635
Day 5 1300.
I know its a good sign that its doubling but the nurse at the hospital insists that the levels are too low for me to be nearly 6 weeks but im 100% sure of when I ovulated. These lower than average results are making me feel so nervous, I cant seem to settle. Did anyone have these kind of results at my stage with spotting? Many thanks

I don't know my levels as I didn't track them but I know I did have a bleed around 6/7 weeks and j had a scan at 8 and everything was good. Can you ask for an early scan? If you speak to the EPU at the hospital and explain they should be able to see you early!

I know how you feel, DH and I have been TTC for 18 months following an mmc so you're constantly on edge! My advice would be see if you can get a scan, it's the only way to know for sure if everything is okay!

Thank you for your reply. I had a scan yesterday and they measured the sac as 5 weeks 4 days but said it was empty. I’ve to go back next Monday for another but I’m worried that no yoke sac was seen as apparently it should be there by now. X

I’m pleased I found this tread. I’ve had a shock finding out I’m pregnant at 41. My husband and I tried for years and where told we where infertile and now hear we are. I’m between 6 and 7 weeks. I have two teenagers from a previous marriage and am worried about how they will take the news when it comes time to tell them. I’m just taking each day as it comes just now though. I hope everyone is well.

Sorry to jump on your post. I'm going through something ATM, I'm only 5 weeks today but Sunday just gone me and my partner had sex and it made me start to bleed, not enough to fill a pad or change it every half hour. I could literally have it on most of the day and it wouldn't be covered. Just more when I wipe. I'm not having any pains at all. I bleed on my first but that way 8+ years ago so can't really remember how long or what it was like. X
