I'm on my fourth, now 7 weeks. I've had constant nausea and sickness with all my pregnancies but nothing ever seems to relieve it. It's been 5 years since my last baby...there must be a revolutionary new product out there somewhere for pregnancy nausea pleaseee!? It's making me so down and tired. I'm worried also people will start to guess I'm pregnant as it's quite bad. I look ill, many have asked this week if I'm ok. Help please 😭😭😭

OP i am sorry for you, I was sick as a dog for 8 months with my first, flat as flat coke helped, but be assured the sicker you are the healthier the baby is, its own immune system is stronger than yours..

katywith3 · 09/03/2019 12:43

Thank you. I've tried flat coke, makes me gag 🤦🏼‍♀️ my first I was sick until around 26 weeks then the next two until 16/17 weeks so I could have another 9 weeks of this yet...not sure I'll cope 😭 It does make it easier to hear it means baby is doing well though, worth it if Bubba is ok x

Go to the doctor and get some anti-emetics. I've been taking them since day one so there has been no vomiting and the nausea has greatly improved (although still debilitating between weeks 7-9). They are perfectly safe to take in pregnancy. Where I live they are sold over the counter but I think you need a prescription in the UK.

Thank you I will ask my doctor. I don't like to take any medication while pregnant if I can help it but this sickness is taking over my life atm and making it so hard to do anything

OP I feel your pain. I'm 8+5 into my fifth pregnancy (although 2 have resulted in miscarriage) but with this one it's the sickest I've ever felt. All day every day. I spoke to my doctor at 7 weeks about anti emetics and she was very reluctant to prescribe them due to inconsistent results in research. Have you tried a little ginger root in hot water? I also find fig helps so I always keep a pack of fig rolls in my bag. Hope you find something that helps. One thing to hold on to is what a PP has said. More sickness generally means healthy baby. Good luck.

Have you tried those travel band bracelet things ?
Sucking ice cubes or boiled sweets helped me. Also (now this is nuts ... but put cold water or a flannel soaked in cold water on your feet. I used to sit on the edge of the bath and run the tap over them... sounds like some bizarre torture I know but really helped me ! Xx

Still sick sick sick 😢 it's actually taking over everything now, that constant nauseous feeling just doesn't go away no matter what.
I don't like to moan as I know this is a good sign of a healthy progressing pregnancy and I know if it stopped I'd panic that something is wrong but I just feel so tired and drained by this constant feeling 🤢😩😩

StarLight10 · 22/03/2019 13:50

I feel for you.
I'm pregnant with number 4 too (also 5 years since my last) and I've been exactly the same this time around. I'm now 15 weeks and the sickness has finally eased off the last couple of weeks.
Hang in there, hide away indoors when you can and keep hydrated! I hope the next few weeks passes quickly for you.

kgeal3 · 22/03/2019 14:04

@StarLight10 Thank you, my last 2 pregnancies it has eased off around 16 weeks so I probably have another 7 weeks of it 😭😭

kgeal3 · 13/05/2019 20:46

Hi all....I think I can finally say at 17+2 today is the day....I DONT FEEL SICK ANYMORE!!! 🎉🎉🎉

This is the point in pregnancy the sickness stopped with my last 2 so I have my fingers crossed I've seen the last of my head down the loo!!!! I've had more energy the last 2 days and that feeling of constant nausea has completely gone today! 🤞🏻🤞🏻
How is everyone else xx
