I'm just over 12w pregnant and bloated! I wake up with a swollen belly and it just seems to grow throughout the day. Everything I've read says avoid certain foods that cause it but everything seems to make it worse! any tips or tricks to keep it to a minimum or do I admit defeat and start buying bigger clothes?

No advice but exactly the same here! 12+2 but by the end of the day I look 20 weeks! I’m popping out of my work uniform!

I really didn't want to have to replace clothes so early as I don't even have my actual bump yet but I'm starting to become so uncomfortable Sad nothing seems to stop or reduce it!

Usually, the most effective way to reduce it is to cut back on foods that are most likely to cause gas. But eliminating all that could cause gas would make eating a balanced diet difficult. Begin by cutting foods that are most likely to cause gas and bloating. If that gives you relief, start adding these foods one by one back to your diet to try to identify what causes the problem. Keeping a dietary diary can help you figure out if some foods appear to cause more gas than others.
