Hello

Currently looking into baby monitors, does anyone have any recommendations for monitors that can also be viewed through smartphone.

My husband would like to be able to check in on the little one whilst he is working his night shift

Thanks x x

We use arlo which allows that, partner works away a fair amount so he likes it.

Can also check temperature/ humidity/ play music/ white noise and use as gentle night light

We love it ... congratulations

We chose not to get one because of security concerns about someone being able to hack into it via the internet. Worth thinking about - it’s a worrying possibility.

If you have a spare smartphone or tablet there is a free app. Something like "babymonitor"

I found it more unnerving than helpful, there is something very horror film about seeing disembodied hands pick up your baby when you aren't in the house.

We use cleverdog. It's quite cheap and does the job (sound and video) when we no longer need it as a baby cam it will be used as a doorbell cam. Sorted.
