Hello,

I've just had 2 BFP (first response and clear blue) this morning after a 5day course of nothesterone for period delay a week or so ago. I took the last nothesterone on Sunday (3rd). No period yet (leaflet says 2-3days) so I took a test just to be on the safe side, thinking there was no way it would be positive!! Does anyone know if nothesterone can give a false positive?

I have spoken to the pharmacist who doesn't think it happens and also Dr Google seems to agree with the pharmacist. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Two different tests we taken to be on the safe side although neither the first wee of the day!

Don't think it's possible. Nothesterone wouldn't make you produce hcg which is what the pregnancy test is checking.

I don't see how it could produce a false positive.
