Obviously I Will get a new mattress.
I'm fourteen weeks- is it too early to buy a crib?

I personally would wait till after the 20 week anomaly scan.

I would never buy anything until the month before my due date (and even then I won't have anything in my house except the hospital essentials. So what I needed to take to hospital was at home, everything else was stored at my mums).

I like the Snoozepod, but am with PP and would wait until after 20 week scan.

Oysterbabe · 08/03/2019 09:47

That's a good price for the snuzpod. I sold ours for £100.

Snuzpod

EstrellaDamn · 08/03/2019 09:57

The Snuzpod is really ugly! Looks very clinical, like something you'd get in the labour ward.

ChaosMoon · 08/03/2019 10:12

Visually the Troll, practically the Snuzpod.

Buy it whenever you like. I kind of wanted to wait until 20wks, so I get that feeling. But black Friday sales came earlier and it made no sense to wait for everything.

Realistically, waiting won't change any outcome. And I realised that putting things off for a very, very long time meant I was focusing on fear rather than enjoying my pregnancy.

It’s so silly people won’t keep things in the house before baby is here I don’t get it ?! Buying things A month before your due date ?! What happens if they come earlier and you’ve got nothing... is that not stressful? Go for it if you want it there both nice. I bought quite abit after my 12 week scan.

TerriB1984 · 08/03/2019 18:30

I loved my snuzpod and will be using it again for #2!

PBobs · 09/03/2019 01:17

I'm 26+5 and we've bought most stuff already. We've bought in the sales and when on trips overseas where the selection is better. We're not based in a country with a lot of choice. We bought our pushchair at around 16 weeks. I agree that buying stuff wouldn't make it more or less likely to work out.

ApplestheHare · 09/03/2019 03:22

I wouldn't buy anything until after the 20-week scan. Buying things won't affect whether something goes wrong, but clearing everything out after something goes wrong is heartbreaking.
