Labor Nearing??

I am now 39+4 and had my sweep yesterday at around 2pm and the midwife who did my sweep said i was 2cm dilated and baby was fully engaged, i have had persistant back ache and shooting pains in my thighs through all of last night and today, I have been having hot flushes and the sweats for about 3 days and I also lost my mucus plug about 3:30pm today and have had alot of pressure underneith and worse back pain than yesterday, I was just wondering if anybody knows if this means labor could be near ? and also if the sweep worked for anybody? as i am a first time mum i dont have half a clue if it means labor is nearing?

It sounds as if labour could be near ..
there's no real sign apart from painful contractions every one is different

Iv got 3 children and each one came straight after I lost my mucus plug

1st child came within 3 hours after my 2nd sweep and stretch

My 2nd came within 15 mins didt know I was in labour I was at doctor surgery

Both over due

My third I had my show and had him within couple hours .. I was 8cm when I went into hospital

Back pain
Can't get comfortable
Pressure

All that sounds like labour is nearing though
