Morning after pill advice

Hi guys I'm new to this and I just have a quick question I'm looking for advice on. Myself and my partner had unprotected sex on the 6th of feb and I took the morning after pill on the 8th of feb. I normally get my period at the end of the month and I still haven't got it. I was on the pill around January but went off it then and completely forgot about going back on it as I had a lot going on. I took a test on Monday and it was negative. My period was never this late the last time I had to take the morning after pill(I know i had to take it twice don't judge me😕) Am I just late? Or maybe my cycle is just completely messed up?

If the morning after pill hadn’t worked and you’ve not had unprotected sex since then, you would expect a positive pregnancy test around two weeks after taking it. If you took it on 8th Feb you would almost certainly be gettting a positive if you were pregnant. Your cycle is probably just messed up.

I'd take a couple more pregnancy tests if you're worried, but it does sound like the last one you did would be positive from looking at your dates.
Note that the MAP only works if you haven't already ovulated, if you've just ovulated and the egg gets fertilised then you can still get pregnant even after taking the MAP. But again, if the test was negative you should be ok.
