Positive first response negative clear blue??

Can anyone help I have taken a first response test today and it has came up positive and I took a clear blue digital test around 2 hours later and it says not pregnant? My period is due today? Has anyone else experienced this?

First response are more sensitive to hcg and if you had already urinated the level of hcg would not have been strong enough. That's why they advise to use first morning urine.

Test again first thing tomorrow

First response is a more sensitive than clear blue so that might be all that's happened.

First Response are sensitive to 10miU/ml urine, Clear Blue are 25-50miU/ml (depending on whether you use a digital or not). Also, in the very early stages, you’re going to get more hCG in first urine of the day than you will with later samples.

@Tifferz I had the exact same thing happen to me. Had a positive FRER first thing in the morning and then a negative CB digital in the afternoon - I tested the following morning with another CB Digital and it was positive - good luck to you 😊

I tried again this morning with clear blue and it still says not pregnant but I took another 2 first response yesterday and they are all clearly pregnant

Honestly Clear Blue really aren't sensitive. I used the 6 first response I had that got darker each day and left the 2nd clear blue digital for 2 weeks and got the 3+ weeks result which was spot on. Congratulations!!

Clearblue are rubbish imo and not very sensitive at all.

I would always go by a first response.

Hey just taken a test myself today a week after my missed period. From everything I have read clear blue work better the longer you wait. So try again a week after your missed period with clear blue
