Please don't read and run. I've just hit my 10 week mark and as this is my first pregnancy I'm not sure what to expect! But (TMI, sorry) when I wipe there's some blood on the tissue but never in the toilet or on my underwear. Is my baby okay? Is it because baby is growing? I'm so confused and worried. Tia ❤️

Get a scan hun and try to keep calm. You can't possibly know why until you see someone xx

This has been for 2-3 days, it started off light and got slightly heavier. I'm not experiencing any pain or cramping

I think you need to go and have a scan. I don't want to scare you as everything is probably fine, but this is how my miscarriage started. I'm keeping my fingers crossed all is well for you. If you search these forums lots of people have bleeding pregnancy. Some with good outcomes, but a scan is the only way to put your mind at rest. If you are in London, St George's in Tooting have a walk-in EPU.

Google your local Epau, they will be able to help you.
Any bleed get it checked out.
I woke to bleeding yesterday, we are all good but my epau got in for a scan just a couple of hours after I called.
I have had a small bleed, to one side of the baby, it’s all fine, but I would always get it checked out.

SnuggyBuggy · 07/03/2019 08:48

I had this and they did an examination and arranged a scan via the EPU, they were very quick and efficient.

As above, ring your local EPU (early pregnancy unit) and see what they advise. If you are unsure of who it is you need to call then you could always phone your GP and ask who it is you need to speak to.
What colour is the blood, is is red or brown? Any clots? When I was 8 weeks pregnant I had blood when I wiped, it was old blood and wasn’t red. It could just be old implantation blood or your cervix could be irritated for some reason. There’s no way of knowing until you’re checked, but at 10 weeks they will be able to see a heartbeat etc. Good luck, I hope it is good news for you x

SophiaEstepanian · 07/03/2019 08:51

@Gobletoffire it's kinda pinkish brown. And there's no clots at all! My boyfriend and I did have intercourse so that COULD have something to do with it

Yeah that can be a big reason, intercourse can irritate your cervix a bit causing some bleeding. If you’re worrying though I would still contact someone to be sure, especially if it got heavier.
