I really don't want to seem like a moaner as I realise how lucky I am to be pregnant but my god I've got to the end of my exhaustion with this pregnancy. Having to run round after a toddler with a baby pushing down on all my nerves and feeling so heavy is no fun! This combined with lack of sleep as every position is so uncomfortable and needing a wee every half an hour is making life so unbearable at the moment! Please say I'm not the only one who is actually looking forward to giving birth!?

I dunno about looking forward to giving birth. But 35 weeks with a 2.5 year old. I feel you with the exhaustion

You're not alone OP!

I'm 39 weeks and have a teething 14 month old going through separation anxiety and a sleep regression. 😩

I absolutely can't wait to give birth, I've tried everything so far and nothing more than Braxton Hicks! 🙄

I’m only 30 weeks but God good this is hard work with a toddler!

Luckily I work full time so work is a lovely break.

Yup 34+5 and a 2.5 yo and still working atm! Bring on next week when mat leave starts and DS is still in childcare 3 days a week (though only till the end of this month). I am going to sleep!!!!

It is so much harder than I thought. My first pregnancy was a breeze in comparison. I’m near the end and utterly exhausted and fed up.

Thanks for the replies! I'm so glad I'm not alone in my misery. Currently staying at my mums as we're having building work done on our home which is an absolute life saver! I had no idea how hard being heavily pregnant with a toddler would be! Can't even begin to think I may still have another 6 weeks of this 😫.

Other than the exhaustion of not being able to sleep in / lie down when I want, carrying a weight around loads what I didn’t really consider when planning a second was just how ill I would be ALL THE TIME. I must just be catching constant colds and bugs from my toddler and then with being pregnant and maybe a little less resilient than normal I just recover from one thing before I get the next.
I don’t even recall having a cold during my first. Ughhhhhhhh.

35+5 with a 2.4 year old here and also feeling horrendous and can’t wait to give birth and not be pregnant any more.
My first pregnancy felt like a walk in the park whereas this one I have felt shocking for basically all of it. In so much pain now, I have had to hand over some parenting duties to the television.
Meeting the consultant tomorrow to decide birth choice (failed induction and emcs last time) and I think I’m going for a 39 week elcs as I just can’t face being pregnant any longer!

Can I join your club? 37 weeks with a 15 month old who isn't sleeping. I'm exhausted. She's literally awake every hour over night. I'm sore and miserable and drained. It's taking a serious toll and I'm worried how I will connect to this new baby, when at the minute it just seems like another 'chore' coming my waySad

Rainycloudyday · 07/03/2019 13:03

Late pregnancy with a toddler was the hardest part for me, harder than the newborn days. Hang in there! Q

Chunk9 · 07/03/2019 14:02

How you feeling now? I’m 39 weeks with a 3 year old. I’m so tired. I was hoping things would kick off this week following a sweep but I’m feeling no closer!!! I just want to sleep but obviously can’t with little boy to look after too!!!! I can’t remember feeling this wiped out with my first pregnancy!

earlybirdhasanap · 07/03/2019 14:33

30 weeks with a 2.5 year old and I'm exhausted. She's still up in the night, I've got spd and I'm just so grumpy.

TickleMeEmo · 07/03/2019 14:41

Can I join in the moan? 36+5 with a 22 month old who’s getting over a D&V bug and a husband who currently has D&V bug... I’m not sure who is harder work! 😬
